The story
Xiaochijiao is the old name of Chixi village on Xiyu island, a traditional fishing settlement; Zhuzai Street is said to have been its old shopping lane. Very little is documented about it, and today it is mostly homes with a few coral-stone houses and no real shops. It is best treated as a detour from the nearby Xiaochijiao Double-Curved Bridge and Chixi basalt cliffs.
