Inside Tainan's Little North Gate, this was a main route into the walled city. Legend says officials mounted small guns on the gate, which residents took for a big cannon ("da chong"). Nearby are the Kaiji Tianhou Temple from the Koxinga era and the Dutch-period Wugui Well.
