The story

Pizitou is a Qing settlement outside the old Fengshan county wall in Zuoying — Taiwan's first earthen city wall (1722), later rebuilt in stone. After the county seat moved to Fengshan, the area became known as the 'old city' and its streets declined. Most old buildings are rebuilt; the city wall and City God temple are the main sights.
