The story

Sanfong Central Street runs through the old Sankuaicuo settlement and is lined with dried-goods wholesalers, earning the saying 'Dihua in the north, Zhongjie in the south'. In the month before Lunar New Year it becomes a packed festive market. Hit by hypermarkets from the 1990s, merchants formed an association, renovated the street and put up a rainbow phoenix gateway.
