The story
Ruifang, once 'Kamalai', grew as a market town on the Keelung River and the route to the Jiufen and Jinguashi gold mines. Today its station is the transfer hub for Jiufen, Jinguashi and the Pingxi Line, and the old streets around it are mainly about local snacks rather than heritage.
