The story

Shengxing Station, originally Jurokufun, was built in the Japanese era as the highest station on the old mountain railway line, and became a nostalgia hotspot after the line closed in 1998. The row of wooden houses in front of it is now a snack street selling lei cha, mochi and Hakka dishes. The old-line rail bikes have made it even busier, and it links to the Longteng broken bridge.
