The story

Tianzhong's old street runs along Yuanji and Zhongzhou roads in front of the station, with a good number of Taishō-era red-brick shophouses and early-Shōwa baroque facades, including the Jingsong clinic built around 1930 by a local doctor. Yuanji Road was once the busy place to shop for New Year goods; it has quietened, though an old fabric shop still trades and some renovated houses now host small businesses.
