The story
Dalin was the first Taiwanese town certified as a Cittaslow. Around the station, Pinghe Street keeps Japanese-era shophouses, such as a former wine house later turned general store, and local groups run walking routes linking old inns and the long-shuttered Wanguo Theatre, now being restored.
