The story

Fugang, formerly Bogonggang, only grew into a town after the main railway line was rerouted through it in 1929 and a station opened. Opposite the station on Zhongzheng Road, the five-bay Lü Jiasheng Western-style shophouse row with its Baroque facades is the main photo stop. The town is quiet and best explored by bike from the little station.
