The story

Jinbaoli takes its name from the indigenous Kimpauri village and has been a fishing and farming market town on the north coast since the Qing. The street is best known for its braised duck, with long weekend queues, and Cihu and Guang'an temples are its spiritual centres. Jinshan hot springs are nearby, and a sweet-potato festival is held each August.
